To date, I’ve certified 20 coaches in my BARE™ process.
That means there’s 20 more body-positivity superheroes out in the word, working with women and girls, spreading confidence and love, transforming bodies and lives. And more BARE coaches are joining this love-army every year.
Once you’re a certified BARE coach, there are lots of things you can do with this credential. You can coach clients 1-on-1 and in groups, and you can teach, speak onstage, design programs for companies and schools, start a podcast, and lots more.
Here’s what three of my BARE coaches have been up to lately. Please follow these incredible women on social media, support their work, and join me in congratulating them! (And if you want to become a certified BARE coach too, you can apply here to join the 2018 training program. I’d love to meet you.)

Why did you want to become a BARE coach? The BARE message is one of the most important messages in society today. Period. As a disabled woman—a woman whose body cannot physically match what society says it should look like—I spent a lifetime trying to hide my body, trying to keep everyone else from feeling uncomfortable around me, and attempting to manage my shame around it. BARE has absolutely set me free, and I want to empower every single other woman who has dealt with anything even close to what I have to STOP IT. We are fearfully and wonderfully made no matter the shape or size. It’s time for us to treat ourselves with love and respect.
What have you been doing since you got certified as a BARE coach? I’ve been teaching women (and smart men) to own their awesome. Organizations have brought me in to run BARE trainings for their members, I’ve run small groups and I’ve done 1:1 coaching all incorporating self-love and self-acceptance. I’m having a blast!
What’s next for you? I’m currently working with 1:1 clients while gearing up for the holiday season of writing Theme Songs for clients. As a professional award-winning songwriter, one of the funnest things I get to do is work with clients to write their own, personal theme songs so they can access their empowered mindset at the press of a button. My clients get to be part of the early creative process, and then I get with some of my award-winning friends and we fully produce the song. It’s so fun.
Imagine you’re sitting down with a woman or girl who’s really struggling with her weight, with food, or with her body image, self esteem, and confidence. Do you have any words of advice or guidance for her? What would you like to say to her? I’ve been that person, and I can say with a clear conscience and honest heart that THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU. It’s time for you to start loving yourself, and while that sounds so small and cliche’, it’s a big, beautiful process that will change EVERYTHING going forward. You are worthy of love—yes, YOU—and if you’re not sure where to begin, let’s do it together.

Why did you want to become a BARE coach? Because it just makes so much sense and feels so much like freedom. It is very aligned with the other work I do. It just lights me up to think about how this will change women’s’ lives. It changed mine in a very profound way. I’m so tired of being held down, shut down, stifled. I’m so done with that shit and this will help other women have an option to make that choice or many others to create amazing lives. As soon as I began to learn about BARE, I just knew.
What have you been doing since you got certified as a BARE coach? Blowing up my life in the most delicious and positive way possible. I had the dream but living the reality of it, being in my body, loving it as it is, creating so much pleasure on a daily basis and honoring myself in all areas of my life is beyond amazing. And, yes, I can honestly say “I love my thighs.!!!”
What’s next for you? Launching my business in a big way. I want to get my coaching and BARE coaching out into the world as my part of helping to heal it. I want to shake up Stepford and beyond. Women don’t realize how good it can be. It’s time to really announce that to the world.
Imagine you’re sitting down with a woman or girl who’s really struggling with her weight, with food, or with her body image, self esteem, and confidence. Do you have any words of advice or guidance for her? What would you like to say to her? Oh, honey. I’ve been there. I know you feel really crappy right now but you don’t have to feel this way forever. There really are things you can do. Simple, small things that can make a huge difference. I wish you could see yourself how I see you. So magical, amazing and talented. I’m here to help you. I won’t abandon you and I won’t let you abandon yourself. Come with me. Let’s get started. You are so worth it.

Why did you want to become a BARE coach?
What have you been doing since you got certified as a BARE coach? Figuring out my coaching focus and business and that has been a scattered (but mostly enjoyable!) process. 🙂
What’s next for you? FINALLY got it figured out. Positioning myself as a mindset coach because DUH!, working through my own mindshit has made me an expert! LOL!! Tagging myself as The Mindset Maven because I love alliteration and a maven is an expert and connoisseur. Crafting my signature offer: Let That S%#T Go!: the 5-week teleclass that shows women how to get clear on what they want, why they don’t have it (mindshit blocks), and create a plan to get it. That will be followed by the Maven MindSetGo! mastermind experience for implementation and a retreat…maybe in Tuscany.
Imagine you’re sitting down with a woman or girl who’s really struggling with her weight, with food, or with her body image, self esteem, and confidence. Do you have any words of advice or guidance for her? What would you like to say to her? It’s NOT about a number on a scale! Or your jean size. Or that burger you feel bad about eating. Or other people’s judgement. Or how YOU judge others (especially women), and yourself. What it’s about is what you’re TELLING yourself about all of it. What you’re making it mean. And BARE teaches you how to Release Yo Self from THAT shit and message yourself love and That. Changes. Everything.
. . .
How AMAZING are those three women? I almost can’t handle their awesomeness.
I’d love to train you, certify you, and send you out into the world so you can change women’s bodies and lives. This is such important work, and if it calls to your heart, please join in. The world needs all the love we can possibly blast into it.
