Usually I’m busy writing to you on a Thursday about the importance of MOVING your glorious god pod. But today I’m resting. And it reminded me how important rest is for the body.
Plenty of my clients have a truly hard time taking a rest day, especially if they trying to lose weight.
Listen to me: A lot is happening inside of your body when it is resting. You aren’t “doing nothing” when resting.
Your muscles and immune system need a rest day to repair things or you are doing yourself more harm than good.
Excessive exercise actually makes you AGE. For serious.
Listen to your body and what it needs. I don’t care what kind of plan you are on or what you are training for….if your body needs to rest, honor it.
